bankruptcy and student loans
Can I file bankruptcy to remove student loans if there is extreme financial difficulties?

Federal student loans can not be discharged due to bankruptcy announcement. There is very little reason why a student would qualify for discharge federal student loan, one of which is not in bankruptcy. The same can not be private student loans. The terms of private loans vary lender to lender. If you took a private loan, you can see the Master promissory note or other contractual documents found emission standards, or contact your lender.
